Tea leaves you healthier!!
TICKLING your taste buds with tea could help lower risks of cancer and cardiovascular disease, a study has found.
University of Queensland PhD student Pieta Cedaro discovered the flavonoid intake by southeast Queensland women, mostly through their tea drinking, could be beneficial in preventing many life-threatening diseases.
Flavonoids are antioxidants found in black tea, green tea, herbs, fruit, vegetables and chocolate and can help reduce cardiovascular disease and cancer because of their antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic contents.
